Cahill could break out in AZ, Buchholz could be a solid pick as well, Chacin worries me in his home park.
help with mine?

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=439098 Cahill left a great pitchers park, for Coors south. Why would he break out?

the way that Ian Kennedy and Daniel Hudson have, remember Kennedy was a fizzled prospect before he came over to AZ

I actually like Baker the most out of this group. FB pitcher in a pitcher's park with an improved defense. K/BB rate has been strong... hopefully health will be on his side. I see a mid 3's ERA but the WHIP will be a benefit.
Chacin is a GB pitcher with control issues... WHIP will be an issue. Plus, his BABIP was very lucky last year. OVER - RATED !!!!
Dempster would be my #2 pick... strong Ks and very unlucky last year. He is a workout fiend so the age issue doesn't concern me. WHIP will be a bit of a liability though.... but not as bad as Billingsley!!
None of the other pitchers really intruigue me... Is Jonathon Niese or Juan Nicasio available???
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.

Not a Cahill fan.
Home era career 3.24
Away era 4.71
Career K/9 5.48
Not a good K guy, who relied on Oaklands nice pitchers park.
Park index -4 on run index, versus AZ +13.
NYY never gave Kennedy a chance (59.2) innings. Plus he has a K/9 of 7.74.
Kennedy has much better stuff, Hudson as well.
