Frank Francisco (hamstring) is available Tuesday.
The Mets closer was held out of action on Monday due to a hamstring issue. But it was apparently only a minor thing. Francisco has a rough 7.71 ERA in 9 1/3 innings this season but is still clinging to ninth-inning duties.
Adam Rubin Twitter:
Frank Francisco good for tonight, though, Collins said.

For those watching Farnsworth's progress:
#Rays call up Rhymes, move Farnsworth to 60-day DL, which pushes his return to June 5. Longoria on 15-day DL

Cordero sucks. Blows another one in his temporary role. Who would be next before Santos returns?

Any news on Santos' progress?
Does anyone have any more insight into the LAD situation?

Ball-four is doing his best to blow a 4-run lead in Boston. Lucky Jarrod Parker was on my bench or I'd be livid.
Who is the man behind Balfour? Fuentes or Cook?

I'd guess Fuentes. He has closing experience, plus he's only walked one and struck out 8. Cook walks way too many to be trusted in the 9th.

Cook has been rock solid and Fuentes history is horrible. Would Oakland go to Cook? I think its the best choice

Cordero blew a save for the Jays. could the Jays go with someone else until Santos returns?
Francisco Cordero took his second consecutive blown save on Tuedsay, giving up an RBI single to Michael Young in the ninth inning.
Cordero had started out strong as a fill-in for the injured Sergio Santos, but he's now blown consecutive chances and his ERA has ballooned to 5.73. Perhaps the Blue Jays would be better served trying Luis Perez or Casey Janssen in the night-inning role until Santos returns.
if this is the case, who's next in Toronto? Jason Frasor has the experience, but his numbers aren't that good. Janssen is even worse.
EDIT: saw this on twitter.
@joestiglich: Melvin says Balfour remains his closer despite recent struggles. #Athletics

Jansen pitching the 8th. Looks like Guerra will get the save chance if it holds up
