For the h2h points league I run, there is a 53%/47% split between hitters and pitchers, and an approximate 85%/15% split between starters and closers. It's also true that the scoring is much more traditional, i.e., 1 pt for a single, 2 for a double, etc. Wins, QS, CG, and S are valued arbitrarily to get the values close to where I want them to be.
I would be curious to see how MLB value SP versus RP in general, maybe by WAR or something...
