Yeah...i've actually been waiting on him since my last pick...I would have thought he would have picked back to back quickly as he has in the past. I'll be around to pick once he decides to. Hope to pick up the pace, so we're done by March 2nd. Otherwise, I will be out of town for a week.

My gosh people relax. Can't a guy think? I had my list of potential players before I left for work this morning and I came home and it was all shot to hell. 1 hour over half my allotted time and I catch crap (not even, technically I am entitled to 24 hours to make my 2 selections). All of my picks up until now have been made with in 2-3 hours of the person before me. I was also nice enough to wait for well over someones 12 hours to make only my second pick (you're welcome for David Wright btw). Had I been on the clock when I woke up before work (some of us work normal 8-5 jobs) I would've made my selections then.... probably.

My suggestion is we carry on our draft the way it is until round 12 ( or 13 or 15 or w/e) and then set up a time do a live draft for the rest of players available. If you guys really want to shorten the time limit I would like to keep it at no less the 9 hours. Even with a smart phone, I can't just stop working to look up metrics on PlayerX and submit my picks.

Just to be clear I didn't mean to be insulting, I just was hoping you hadn't made a pick and forgot you got to go twice in a row or thought you had posted 2 and then only posted one etc.

No worries (your statement was insulting to me anyhow). All I ask is in the future please give me a little credit. I f00king LIVE fantasy baseball man! Thats why I'm here.

Also I have a question about position eligibility and spring training games. Do spring training starts count toward eligibility? For example, is Miguel Cabrera who is list at 1B in our yahoo league going to be eligible for 3B by opening day? As of now hes listed as The Tiger's #1 3B on mlb.com.

As slow as this draft is going, we all should have plenty of time to think about our upcoming picks. Put together a list of players you want ahead of time. If it looks like your going to be busy, send that list to the next guy or one of the mods. It will make this draft a lot faster and more fun.

Cyboninja, I'm almost certain spring training games do not count towards position eligibility. Miggy should have that eligibility soon into the season however :-)

Again, I had my list. I had it narrowed down to 3 players I was certain on had they been available. I wasn't on the clock when I went to work with 3 picks ahead of me. 2 of my 3 were chosen. That left me needing a bit of time. JJ was one of my 3 so I submitted that pick right away. I took the time I needed, did my research, weighed my options, and even consulted my buddy who happened to stop by who is in another league with me.

PS. I'm already working on my list for rounds 8-9. Picking back to back is a pain (even more so in larger leagues) and I prefer to pick somewhere in the middle if possible.

We're supposed to be doing this? Holy %$@#$! I'm screwed because I'm just picking.

Just having fun with ya but that is a lot more thought than I've been putting into it. I'm busy enough (we all are) right now that I barely know who has been drafted (and there is a spreadsheet) much less who is falling.

He will only be 1B eligible until he gets 5 starts or 10 total games at 3B. Spring training doesn't count. There is no way to change that in Yahoo either so no way to work around it even if people wanted to.

A player's position eligibility will not be adjusted prior to the beginning of the season. (If a third baseman is playing first base exclusively during spring training, the third baseman will not become eligible at 1B until after he meets the criteria for regular-season games played there.)
Players will not lose positional eligibility during the season, even if they do not appear at the position throughout the season.
It is not possible to customize this setting within Custom Leagues. All leagues are subject to the same constraints.
