First shot, based primarily on Ks, WHIP and ERA projections, with minimal adjustments for opportunities for holds and saves. Tell me who I am missing, who's ranked too high or low, etc.

I always figured that Jansen would be first in line for saves opportunity in LA. If Guerra falters, which he will, then I can see Jansen closing games by the end of May. I figured that would be enough to pull him out of the first tier.
But that's what I love about the cafe, figure this out in February instead of the day after the draft.
Is Pestano locked into the 8th inning, Tav? What don't you like about Clippard?
Jonboy, I'm ranking holders not simply on their contribution to holds, but on their overall contribution. That means a guy like Jansen who has a chance to earn saves, too, gains value, even though you may lose his holds.

It should be between Sipp and Pestano. Depending on how much weight you want to put into how secure they are with the 8th inning vs the 7th I could see Pestano being in the middle of the 2nd tier.
As far as Clippard, I always get nervous when a RP is following up back-to-back seasons when they pushed 90 IP. More or less a personal preference since I don't believe there is any hard evidence that it leads to problems. Just feels like I've just been burned by pitchers that fit that mold more often than not.

Thanks for the clarification. By going on that criteria, then Jansen is undoubtedly a tier one MR.

Agreed. In the one league I play that counts holds, I'm looking for a) elite k-rate/ratios and b) those solid next-in-line guys, particularly on teams that appear to have the most tenuous closer situations. It's easier to find holds on the wire during the year; having a newly minted closer already on your roster when the in-season change is made: priceless.
