Not arguing against too strongly but some of us work, have lives outside of this, that means sometimes you're not online at all times. Please also bear in mind different time zones!

This is mostly one person holding us up though. AO needs to make better use of buddy system if he knows he is not going to be around for a bit.

Yeah this pace has been brutal...I have Fades pick for when Oopah shows up or his clock expires

Lol we're averaging like 3-4 picks a day. I've said it in the past - 12 hours per pick is ridiculous. How is 6 or 8 hours not long enough?

I'd say that is somewhat of an exaggeration, as we've easily doubled that pace. We've made 36 picks in 5 full days of drafting.

Obviously we have MANY more rounds and players to draft, so an increased pace is probably necessary for us to finish on time. But we're not even 1 week into this thing, so I wouldn't sweat the clock too much right now. Like RBV said, it has just been Oopah's absence that has held us up. If we continue to come to a complete halt whenever we get to his pick, I think that we could safely change the clock to 8 hours if everyone else agrees.

Haha okay... I work and have a life as well. I work 60 hours a week where I manage a $15 million portfolio and I still seem to make my picks in a timely fashion. Whatever, can't a guy complain? Sheesh

Hear what you're saying...I think most of us are pretty decent in the amount of time we take to pick!

Although I'm not going to promise anything: wedding to plan, house move to organise, new job to start & about five baseball drafts to fit in....and that's just before mid April (except the wedding - that's the end of May!).

I don't really care that it takes a while...my biggest issue is that for the last three years, it's the same guy who holds up the draft every year.
