I will make my pick when I get home from Vegas tonight which is in about 5 hours. Sorry for the delay but All the guys I had my eye on got picked so need my spreadsheet to pick.

Anyone else hoping Ender is going home a winner?

We put all of $1 into gambling and turned it into $10. Not much of a gambler.

I see that I didn't miss Norris, but it's very possible that I may have missed someone in the Players Taken thread considering I do almost all the updating of these threads from my phone. If I do, I apologize. Just make sure you check the Draft Results thread as well if anyone is unsure if a player is available. It's more difficult to skip a pick in that thread.

Even though I have a top tier catcher and McCann may end up being a wasted pick, when he plays he's the cleanup hitter in a great lineup.

And only 3 round left. We'll probably be done a good 2 weeks before opening day.

I don't mind the McCann pick but there is almost no way he bats cleanup. He will likely bat 6th or at best 5th.

Although I admit I'm being optimistic (about a rd23 pick ), I think that is a bit too strong of a statement. Because Gonzalez has the opportunity for a great R-L split down the batting order, I believe he'll bat either McCann or Freeman cleanup with the other hitting 6th. Obviously it'll be Freeman until McCann come back a few weeks into the season and it will all depend on health and production, but I truly think he'll be the one hitting 4th for most of the season.

But I do see your point. They're obviously a much better team with McCann in the lineup over Laird, but with the surgery and their playoff aspirations, they may want to limit his season of PAs by batting him lower in the lineup.

He was gonna be my last round pick, but I was without my list and he was the only guy I could remember who I wanted to take. Way to early for the likes of him but I couldn't risk him not gettin him and I didn't want to the the draft down with the pace we're movin at.
