Please post your MiLB keepers here. Lists will be locked on Saturday, February 18th at Noon EST.
Remember -
*Each year, once keeper lists for MiLB teams are submitted, teams can acquire additional prospects/MiLB draft picks (above the eight keepers). Teams can acquire this additional talent via trades or free agency. However, to be eligible to be picked up via free agency, the players/prospects that the owners covet must be in Yahoo's database and thus the owner must go through the waiver process. Owners can only add four additional prospects throughout the year (for a total of 12). At the end of the year, their MiLB rosters must be whiddled down to the eight. These eight will comprise the owner's keeper lists for the next year.
Owners can also receive and stockpile MiLB draft picks for future years.
Keepers
MLB Keepers: *Owners have the ability to retain 10 players every year. Supplemental picks will not be given to those teams who are below this threshold. *Owners can trade with others to enhance their keeper lists in the offseason. *Players can only be kept up to four consecutive years. Once a player is traded/picked up via free agency (i.e. waivers), their clock will not re-start. Take the following example: Trade: Team A has kept Player A for three consecutive seasons. He trades Player A to Team B. Team B can only keep Player A for one more additional season. Free Agency/Waivers: Team B claims Player A who was kept the previous three consecutive years. Player A will only be eligible to kept for one more additional season. *At the end of the four consecutive years period (if the player is kept all of these years), players will be thrown back into the general draft pool.
Rookie Keeper™ Rule:
- This keeper is in addition to your 10 MLB keepers - The player must have passed his 130/50 limit the previous season; In other words, they had to be classified as a rookie by MLB standards - The "rookie keeper" tag does not use up any of that player's 4-year keeper eligibility (so essentially these players can be kept 5 years) - These players can be traded to other teams, with all these attributes transferring with them - A player can only be tagged as a Rookie Keeper™ once, then they have to become one of your 10 keepers the next year
MiLB Keepers *Owners can keep up to eight prospects each year. There is no minimum that must be kept. *At the end of the season, players who have exceeded the 50/130 plateau must be promoted to the MLB keeper list. They will not be eligible to be kept on the MiLB keeper list. So if Player A, who during the season accumulates 50 IP, can only be retained by being placed on the MLB keeper roster for the next year.

He who knows not and knows not he knows not: he is a fool - shun him. He who knows not and knows he knows not: he is simple - teach him. He who knows and knows not he knows: he is asleep - wake him. He who knows and knows he knows: he is wise - follow him
