Sorry I was perusing the boards and trying to find how everyone value Hanley Ramirez. What is his worth and I would like to add him as my 5th keeper.

Sorry. 16 team going to a 5 keeper league. Right now its 4.

I have weak keepers to start with so I'm looking to add a good one before the 80 keepers goes into effect.

With Reyes on the team and the new Miami team, I would like to think that Hanley is definitely worth a shot as a keeper of yours. I agree with sending a first rounder. If he gets back to a strong five categories this year you'll forget you even sent that pick off for him.

This looks about right. Perfect time to buy low on Hanley but it still will take quite a bit to get him. I am not sure he is the best player to go after here. There are some concerns about his shoulder which could hurt his power numbers to start the year. Just never know about these things.

Heyward might be cheaper and I think he has could really turn things around this year. Or if Stanton could be had for cheap though I doubt that he is. Or Jay Bruce. These guys might be cheaper to buy and have some pretty good upside.

Definitely start with a 1st round pick and then add a few in if needed. Hanley has some risk going into 2012, but his upside is huge IMO. And if you need a 5th keeper (and Hanley's owner has over 5 already) then Hanley is a good target.

The best bet for value however would be to find the team with the highest number of possible keepers and then make a deal. If an owner has 9 good players it will be will a lot easier/cheaper to trade for one of those compared to a team that has fewer.
