I have been offere Michael Young for my Shane Victorino. My strongest position is OF and my weakest is MI and I could put Young in there. What do you think?

Need for need, I like it. I'm not sure how many more years Young has at that production level from last year, but he'll do nicely to shore up your MI area.

I like this deal. The offense in Philly is in decline across the board, and while Victorino has been solid, he's a guy I wouldn't project to anything more than what he did last year. Young is still in the heart of a damn good lineup in Texas, and with your needs and his flexibility, it's a very strong deal.

with all the position eligibility Young has he can be used in different places (1B/2B/3B).
it does fit a need. but then maybe after you would want to look for someone to replace the SB? Victorino only had 19 last season, but you can usually expect around 30+.

Reading just the subject line, I immediately said "No Way". But as everyone else says, need for need. Nice deal. Just don't expect a real high average from Young (.290-ish)
