I think he will probably go for less in the draft seeing that Verlander and Kershaw went for about 35 dollars each last year and are worth 38 this year and are both being kept. So you can either think that Lee will cost a lot because he will be the only elite pitcher not kept or things might come back down to earth as people in the league know that quantity of solid pitchers pretty much outweighs quality of just a few pitchers, if you get my drift. Any thoughts?

If it could go either way like that, then I guess it comes down to who else is going to be in the draft. If Lee is the only top tier SP available, I could see someone overpaying for him. Who is the next best SP (or group) available?

If you think he will go for cheaper, it's not even a decision, you throw him back. Then you get him on the auction block ASAP and re-sign him. That needs to be the entire thought process on whether or not you're keeping a player here.

I can't really tell you who will be available yet as only a few teams have posted their keepers so far even though midnight is the deadline. But I can tell you that Doc Halladay is being kept for 46 dollars by his owner and in comparison to Miggy, Prince is being kept for 43 dollars by his owner.

I pretty much think Lee and Miggy will go for lower dollar values than what I am keeping them for if I keep them but part of me feels they are too good not to keep and there is a good chance I won't get them back in the draft. If I keep both along with the others I posted I will be left about 62 dollars to draft a C, 2B,SS,3B, and then probably 8 pitchers. If I keep one and drop the other I will have approximately either 109 for 12 players or 117 for 12 players. If I don't keep either then I will have a ton of money left but will I be able to get players of their caliber again?
