I think now is the time to trade Bautista.

McCutchen will have a better AVG than he had last season. I think his AVG/SB numbers should be closer to what he had in 2010, and the power will remain around the low 20's.
Bautista/Lee for McCutchen/Kershaw is not bad. if you're rebuilding, 2 years from now I see McCutchen having more value than Bautista. same with Kershaw being better than Lee in 2+ years. Lee will be 34 this season.
but it will still be nice to get something more if your putting in Bautista. can you involve draft picks? like you get a better draft pick back than the draft pick you're giving.

help?

Normally I would agree, but with the additional hitting categories (H, BB, OBP, SLG) Bautista gains even more ground over McCutchen. Even when McCutchen peaks, I still see him as a 30-30 guy. A good contributor to all of the categories in this league (which is a plus), but probably won't match Bautista's current output.

But since you can't get anyone else, I'd probably go with the deal.

I'd rather have McCutchen. I like Zimmerman, but he has to prove to me he is healthy first.

Alright, after much negotiating I got a tentative new offer: Bautista and Sandoval for Tulo and Stubbs. I may have to add an extra lesser player as well, but that seems like a better deal right?

I like AM and Kershaw for Batista and Lee.
Not even that close to me.
Bautista and Lee maybe have 2-3 big years left.
Kershaw is the best SP to have in a keeper, and AM will be a top 20 player easily.

I'd accept the original offer before this one.
