Possible 2012 Keepers?

I've got some tough decisions coming up for keepers
Albert Pujols $50
Mike Stanton #39
John Lester $30

Opinions?

I wouldn't consider any of them keepers at those prices.

If you kept all three, then you're looking at $161 left for 22 players, or an average of $7.32. Obviously, that's not happening. If you felt the need to keep one of them, I'd go with Pujols. He's overpriced, but at least you know what you're getting for your money. Unfortunately, he'll represent 17.8% of your total cap. You may have to stretch the rest of your funds.

I'd probably drop them all because you could most likely get them back for that price or less (especially Lester). Unless inflation is higher than normal.

The only player I'd consider keeping is Stanton at $40 as I think he could return that value or slightly more in a $280 cap league.

I'd shy away from all of them at those prices. Any other cheaper potential keepers?

Throw them back. You'd probably be able to pick them up in the draft for less.

Huh? If Pujols was just $35 or something along those lines you would have to keep him. No brainer in my eyes ... especially with an elevated draft cap. That said ... I would not keep any of them. That would be close to market value for each, IMO.
