I think Weaver will be the biggest surprise for the Yankees this year and is in for a career year.

Weaver is definitely going to be #5 for the Yanks to start the season, but I am reserving all that talk of career year, and stud status. I think he is in for a decent year, and should have the offense behind him to get him some wins. Just wondering if this guy has the makeup to do well in the Bronx. Seems like a bit of a question mark to me.

Agreed, Nappy. I'd love for Weaver to turn into a stud, but I wouldn't bet on it in fantasy. You leave emotions out of fantasy, and though I love the Yanks, Weaver stays lower on my list until he proves it. He's still worth a draft, but definitely in the lower rounds.

Weaver seemed to be shaken by the trade to NY - I guess pitching in Yankee stadium will do that to you.

If he makes the rotation, look for him to bounce back and have a nice year. Gook K's and ERA.
