This league is a 10 team H2H with OPS and K/9 in addition to standard categories. We get to keep three players; previously the commissioner had it set up where the players you kept and counted as your selection in whatever round they were drafted in the year before; i.e. if I had Adrian Gonzalez drafted in round 6 and kept him he would be my 6th round pick for years to come. Anyway, he has done away with it leaving me frustrated because I had acquired some nice values. So, I can keep three:
C Montero 1B Tex 2B B Philips SS Alexei Ramirez 3B Ryan Roberts OF Ellsbury, Kemp, Stubbs, Hamilton Bench B. Butler, Youk
Cliff Lee, Strasburg, and Pineda are the notable pitchers.
This team was pretty solid last year, with pitching being my downfall. What do you guys think?
are a clear top 4. kemp is clearly a must keep but given that it's an OPS league i could see a case for any 2 of the final 3. i think i'm higher than most on teixeira this year and I'd go him and ellsbury. i really don't think you can go wrong with any two of them though.

Was there a vote or something for this rule change? If the commissioner did this out of the blue, he gets a big fat
You're final three, I would go with Kemp and Tex for sure. Then Ellsbury and Hamilton are left. I would probably keep Ellsbury and hope the power is at least somewhat legit. If you're not a big believer, then I keep Hamilton. Tex is a must keep here, since I wouldn't want to keep 3 OF. Getting a good 1B will be very helpful.
Kemp, Tex, Ells. I would go with Hamilton over Ells, but in my personal experience Hamilton is really frustrating to own in a H2H league. In any league, really, but H2H especially. It's hard to tag him with the injury prone label since so many of his problems have been freak accidents, but the guy cannot seem to stay healthy. I'd rather gamble on Ells being semi-legit than bank on Hamilton not sliding headfirst into a camera well or something.
I agree with a previous post - if the commish is changing the draft position rule, it completely changes the face of your keeper league. Either reinstall the rule, or redraft all players.
If not, I like: Ellsbury, Kemp, C. Lee (not Tex - way too much 1B talent toward the middle rounds)

I hope there was a vote for this change to take place. If not then I think you need to bring this up to the league. Major changes in how keepers are done effects everyone. I am jumping to conclusions but if the commish has a strong team and didn't want to lose his players so he made a change is as bad as collusion.
I agree with the majority on the keepers but I would make your unhappiness known.
