What do you think of this guy? His numbers looked good in a brief stint last year. I heard he was a knuckleballer, is this true?

I'm pretty sure he is not a knuckleballer. I don't think I would count on him for much. He plays for the Reds for gosh sakes and they suck. Hold off and wait and see how he does.

Acevedo is a young guy with alot of upside in my opinion. Not a knuckler though. I think he could be a solid #3 starter for the Reds, and while its true they do suck he will get some opps this year as a result. Hes already taken his lumps in the big leagues, now its time for him to mature, or not.....

Acevedo has great stuff. He may be the best pitcher out there that NO ONE talks about. The only thing that scares me a bit is he pitches in that Band Box. However, he'll play the Pirates and Brewers a lot this year and could be a great match-up pitcher. Monitor his progress early on and see how he shakes out.
