I think all these prices are too high...the one I might consider is Sanchez at $10

Assuming a $260 budget.

braun $40 (if hes not suspended) - If he's not suspended, I like that price a lot. If he is, things are a little cloudy. In a H2H league I might still bite.
g.sanchez $10 - Improving young 1B on an improved Marlins team. He'll have some great hitters around him. I say yes.
trumbo $15 - Borderline. With a sub .300 OBP last year I see a lot of bust potential here, and at $15 there's not much room for any kind of sophomore slump. The lineup is also a problem. Where's he going to play? Morales/Pujols/Trumbo... and 1B/DH are really the only places they can go. I heard some rumblings that they might try Trumbo out at 3B... if that happens I'd be way more likely to keep him. Monitor and see.
goldshmidt $15 - Another tough one. I'm a pretty big fan of Goldshmidt... in some ways I prefer him to Trumbo. He has an easier path to playing time and more raw power. But at $15, you're paying for that best-case-scenario. Risky.

lester $35 - way too expensive. Kershaw and Halladay and maybe Verlander are the only pitchers I'd spend that kind of $$ on.
b.norris $8 - High K upside, but that team is pretty abysmal right now. I kind of doubt he'd go for more at auction, but you know your league better than I do.
a.sanchez $15 - He's pretty good. I could see him earning $15 but there's not a lot of surplus value here.
c.lewis $9 - no way.
j.venters $8 - I don't care how good he is, I'm not paying more than a couple bucks for a non-saves reliever in a 5x5 league.

how big of a league, do you use corners, do you have a primary 1st basemen? Do you have daily roster where you can use Gabby alot? Obviously you know your setup and the total amount you can spend, but not all leagues use $260 and players have different values in a 10 teamer than they do in a 16.
I don't like any of the pitchers prices

I think, by and large the prices are high. Sanchez at 10 and Trumbo at 15 are marginal at best. the rest i would stay away from.

Gaby Sanchez at $10 and Bud Norris at $8 are the standouts from that group IMO

Agreed. They're really the only ones I would consider. All of the prices for these guys though seem really high.
