H2H Dynasty league with real contracts (for Moore) and all specs get 3 years after getting called up: Nova, Henderson Alvarez, Rafeal Santana, Adonys Cardona, Aaron Sanchez for Jacob Turner, Matt Moore, Parker, Singleton. Which side?

They are mostly really good Toronto specs (most of them are the domincan bonus baby kinds). If anyone else knows the specs, I'd be really interested to hear.

This. I don't think that it's close. None of those guys will come close to sniffing Moore.

Perhaps. I'm not as high on him as most. Regardless, Moore is special.

Yeah Turner worries me. He could be Rick Porcello. Parker is just coming back from surgery. Alvarez was stellar in his premiere last season. Nova is a better pitcher in fantasy than real life. The others are mostly Dominica and Venezuela with HUGE upside. That's what concerns me. Overthinking it?

I know it's easy to get excited about DSL guys who put up video game numbers and have great scouting reports, but don't get ahead of yourself. The attrition rate at that level is hideous. Adonys Cardona has an absolutely huge arm, no doubt. It's easy to dream on him being the next big thing. But don't fall into the trap of overrating prospects.

Ever heard of Brandol Perez? He's a Mariners prospect who put up a 0.19 ERA (not a typo) with 12.7 K/9 in the DSL in 2010.

So where is he now? The M's released him when they found out he was 19, not 17.

Stuff happens. Jacob Turner might profile more as a no. 2 than a legit ace, but he's knocking on the door to the majors, right now, today, not 5 years from now.

The Moore side easily for me. Alvarez is a nice prospect, but won't be dominant like Moore will be this year. Nova is someone I don't like for fantasy due to lack of K's.
