I've been told by an owner he would move Austin Romine or Alex Torres for my Frank Francisco. I'm in rebuilding mode, and have plenty of closing candidates in Brothers, Motte, de Los Santos, etc. Francisco has more value as a potential closer in New York, but his career has been injury-riddled, and he tends to struggle with his command in the closer role.
This owner has four catchers: Lucroy, S Perez, D Norris, and Romine. I haven't had any luck targeting any of the other three except Romine, whom I can trade for straight up.
Would you make this trade? I could maybe squeeze Torres and Romine out of the managers, but have issues with roster space as is.

I think I would rather have Torres than Romine but I like either of these deals. FF isn't really worth the trouble he can give you so you might as well take a risk with some young players. Of course if you can get both and find room for them, then that is even better.

His farm is as follows: 1 - Castellanos, Nick (0 Abs - 3B - Det) 2 - 3 - Federowicz, Tim (13 Abs - C - LAD) 4 - Fuentes, Reymond (0 Abs - OF - SD) 5 - Gose, Anthony (0 Abs - OF - Tor) 6 - Hagadone, Nick (11 IPs - RP - Cle) 7 - Lee, Zach (0 IPs - SP - LAD) 8 - Moore, Matt (9 IPs - SP - TB) 9 - Myers, Wil (0 Abs - OF - KC) 10 - Norris, Derek (0 Abs - C - Oak) 11 - Romine, Austin (19 Abs - C - NYY) 12 - Torres, Alex (8 IPs - SP- TB)
I've tried for Norris, but he is hesitant to move a high upside hitter for an injury-riddled closer candidate. He also values Cast, Gose, and Lee very highly, so no chance to buy low on any of them. He also has no use for draft picks, or my expendable prospects (Britton, Tejeda, etc.), so it would basically be a 1-for-1 or similar even swap.

Francisco isn't the best closer, but he doesn't have a lot of guys threatening him either. So I'm guessing the job sticks unless he totally implodes. You may be able to get someone better if you wait a little bit and let Francisco's value build up. But then again, that gives him more time to acquire another closer.
