I'm very very interested and have been in a few Points league before. However, a strikeout for a hitter being worth as much 2 hits/2 walks is huge overreach. Even -.25 would be a big penalty against free swingers, but -1 would make guys like Reynolds unownable and put Stanton below 80th in rank and I feel like that would be travesty.

A strikeout is -1 however it is not worth more than even a single. You are forgetting to add in the total bases with the single. After adding the total bases for a single it is worth 1.5. I've used this point system for the last 5 years and it has worked great. Stanton last season ranked in the top 50 with this scoring system. The big sluggers more than make up for it if they hit enough homeruns.
