I think I would bet that they miss the playoffs completely before I'd bet they win the world series. Even if they were the best team in baseball which I really don't think they are, it is really hard to win a World Series. Just takes one bad series late in the year and it is over.

I think after adding Prince, it'd be extremely hard for any other AL Central team to top the Tigers. Nobody was within 15 games of them last year, and nobody has gotten any better. Other than the Tigers themselves, of course. The entire division has pretty much thrown in the towel for whatever reason. I'd bet the Tigers have a better shot at winning it all then any other team in that division does at making the playoffs.
