I have to keep two of the three and I lose the associated pick for this years draft. All three are going in first rounds per MDC. I am leaning towards going with Kemp and Cano, I am ok with losing my first and second round picks. I have both Kemp and Cano rated higher overall, but does the value of keeping Ellsbury in the third round outweigh Cano in the first? I would like to hear some arguments on both sides. I appreciate your thoughts...

I agree. But if in a deep league (14+ teams or extra MI spots), I would probably hold onto Cano.
If the talent looks poor for the draft in what you could get for the second round, then I'd go Kemp + Cano. That is a really good starting point for a 1st and 2nd round pick.
I would go kemp and ellsbury, then with my 2nd round I would target kinsler or pedroia or Reyes or Hanley. Obviously, only you know if these kinds of players will be available in the 2 nd round. Otherwise, and honestly, it's pretty much 50/50. You can't go wrong either way IMO.
I think the play is Kemp and Cano. Thanks for helping me see this more clearly... I feel it is a solid platform to build from especially since I will have a late first round pick based on last years results, so I wouldn't have had a chance at Kemp traditionally...
