Setting up a proxy server

I'm looking for a little help here. I run reports in Jersey for a woman in Georgia. If it matters, the reports in question are keyword reports run in SEO Suite. I am having issues because the data is skewed based on whether I run the reports at my location compared to her running them where she is. I know nothing about proxy servers but am told that this is the way to go. Basically, I want to run the reports in Jersey as if I was in Georgia.

Assuming this is possible, can it be done for free? If not, what would it cost? I would think that she will pay the cost if it's relatively low but free would be better.

Your best bet is to probably either rent a proxy in the area (assuming you are targeting near a high population center like Atlanta) or try to locate a the free, open proxy. Renting one is usually pretty cheap ($5 for a month) but comes with the added benefits of being a little more secure. Building your own is really cheap but has the problem of needing to send the server to the physical location and have it installed.

A proxy service I have used before is http://www.bestproxyandvpn.com . That might get you started.

Using an Atlanta proxy should be fine then. If she was in a mid-point between two major population areas you might have run into problems using a proxy service.
