16 team league, can keep as many players per year just have to field a complete roster. Auction prices go up 3 dollars per year if keeping the player and you have a 5 year max to keep a certain player. Last year was our first year. The best valued player I have is Hosmer at 2 dollars last year will be worth 5 bucks this year.
This is a points league and the pitching is weighted higher than the hitting. Here is the offer:
Yeah, I Know 60 bucks for Hanley was totally stupid on my part last year. I got a little excited with the bidding.lol It is actually a 300 dollar cap but I guess that is just water under the bridge. Thanks for your post and opinion.
If t hat's a trade that puts you in contention to win, I can live with it. With a $300 budget those aren't bad prices for Greinke or Zimm, plus you get Hellboy essentially forever. Problem is that Miguel Cabrera, good as he may play, is soon going to be priced out of being a keeper, and you'll be looking for a 1B replacement.
If you're a big Hosmer believer, the best bet may be to wait until the end of May or into June, and then shop Miguel Cabrera for a huge haul of cost controlled studs to a team who thinks they're making a power move to content for a title.

Better than the first offer. I like how it gets Hanley off of your books for $60 and the talent you're getting in return is good and well priced.
I don't know if I would accept though. We don't know if Zimmerman is going to be healthy and it doesn't look like you need to add another pitcher. Your SP staff looks pretty good for a 16 team league as is. The trade would boost your SP a lot, but then you're hitters don't look great for the long term.
I am not a big fan of any of these trades. I like Hosmer a lot and at $2, he is your best player. So I think I would have to get a lot more than either of these deals to want me to deal him. The second deal is nice because you get Hanley off the book but you don't get anything that strong back. Zimmerman is really good but can't stay healthy and Hellickson while a great deal at $2, had a season that was unsupported by his advanced stats. So we really don't know what kind of pitcher he will become. In the first deal I liked that you got Cano but everything else you were receiving were guys that either could be had at auction or easily replaceable.
