Will the new park be as pitcher friendly as Dolphin Stadium?

IIRC they moved the right field fence in about 10 feet. Other than that Ithink it's similar. You never really know how a park is going to play until you have a season or two worth of data though.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

I read an article that went into breaking down the stadiums location, orientation, dimensions, and sightlines and compared those with old ballpark to try and determine what sort of effect the change will make. IIRC the author came to the conclusion that they really had no idea until they started playing some games there. If anything they leaned slightly towards it being a more pitcher friendly park.

I've also heard the same. I want to see that it was an interview with Beuhrle.

I am not sure where I read it but I remember reading that they thought the ballpark would be a better place to hit in then the old stadium. Not sure what that means though as it could still be a pitchers park but just not as much of one.

I do agree that we won't know until games are played and even then probably not for another 2-3 years. It seems that there have been new ballparks that first looked like they were hitters parks but turned out to be more of a pitchers park and vice-versa.
