Garciaparra will begin season on DL
All-star shortstop could miss the entire month of April
By Boston.com, 3/31/2004

Red Sox all-star shortstop Nomar Garciaparra will be placed on the disabled list to begin the season with tendonitis in his right Achilles’, the Globe’s Bob Hohler learned today.

He’ll be on the shelf for three weeks before beginning a rehab stint, which means he’ll likely miss the entire month of April.

this is awesome, I also have Schmidt and Nen! Now all I need is Gagne and Soriano to fall and my first four picks will all be on the DL.

so he's still an injury risk, huh????

I had him last year and sweated it out, and he was great (especially the bonus SB's)

traded him as a keeper for Brandon Webb and Derek Lowe.....not that I'm bragging

and if I haven't said it in a while, Mookie still sucks
