ESPN requires 20 games at a position to have eligibility. Anyone knows what happens if a player didn't play 20 games? Automatically becomes Util only, or will get the eligibility where he played most?
Another question is for example Jeff Baker played 19 games at 1b and, 18 games at 2b, 11 games at 3b, 10 games at RF. Is he still only a Util or gets 1b? Cause if he still only qualifies as a DH than it's
Yahoo has a 5 games started requirement, so even if a player didn't play 10 games at a position, but started 5 will gain eligibility. For example Desmond Jennings only played 7 games at CF but he started all 7, and Victor Martinez played only 6 games at 1b but started all 6.

I wonder the same thing for Yahoo! that you wonder for ESPN, though I think they probably just become UTIL. If players are eligible at the position they played the most games in the previous year even if it is less than the required number, then Mat Gamel should have 3B eligibility and Jesus Montero and Lavarnway would both be catchers.

If a player doesn't play the minimum required games at any position besides DH in the previous season then they become UTIL only. If they hit the minimum requirements for position eligibility in the current season then they will gain that eligibility as appropriate...
