Move from H2H Points to H2H 5x5

This season I am moving my league from an H2H Points system to H2H 5x5. We have been on the former system for 2 years now and last year I perfected the points system by using a Fantastic Sports player projection program (if anyone would like the values I'd be happy to provide them because they worked out incredibly well valuing both hitters and pitchers realistically).

However, I have found that in H2H Points trading is almost irrelevant. I want to make trades a bigger part of the experience, and I believe that using a categories system will accomplish this. BUT I want to get some insight from commissioners who have used both scoring systems on what to expect as far as advantages and disadvantages in making this move.

Also, I am moving from Yahoo! to the premium CBS Sports site. Wondering if it is worth the money.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When you say the "Premium CBS" site, I assume you mean the CBS Commissioner. That is the $149 price per league. It is good I think. It has about everything you could want. There is an issue with the bidding that some have talked about on here, but I find it not that bid a deal. == If you are bidding on two players there is no way to tell the site to not bid on the second player if you win the first one. If you bid on a player you have a shot to win him and there is no alternatives. I don't find it that big a deal but some do.

Yes, I was referring to CBS Commissioner. That shouldn't be a probable for our league. I have looked at some of these other websites that people on here seem to recommend (i.e. Fantrax) but the interface doesn't look as clean and I think the managers in my league would be more comfortable with a website that is more mainstream. It is a pretty basic league. I'm just really tired of Yahoo, there are a lot of things I have not liked on there. The other option I was looking at was ESPN, but I would rather pay the money and have more customization options.

This system worked perfectly. It values both pitchers and batters just as they should be. It took a long time to develop, but it was worth the effort.
