The Yankees make substantial improvements without spending a mountain of cash - imagine that!

Front three of the Yankees is very good. Backend is a little more questionable. This was a very good day for the yankees.

It will pain me to see Kuroda in a Yankee uniform. He's a very underrated starter. Boston should've been all over this.

Yeah, I was hoping the Yanks would scoop him up, but didn't think they would. Cashman's been very sneaky the last few offseasons...

Good luck to Kuroda going from the NL West to the AL East. He is going to get hammered by Boston, Toronto, and even Baltimore. The hitting in the NL West was the worst in baseball by far in 2011, while the AL East was the best, by far. Oh, and get used to facing a DH on a consistent basis, rather than a scrub pitcher at the plate.

Hey, if Javier Vazquez can do it, why can't - oh wait.
