First pick in Keeper League - Holliday,Wright or Crawford

Hey guys,

i will have the first pick in a 5x5 Yahoo RotoLeague and i'm really not sure who should be my pick.

My team thus far:
Goldschmidt 1B
Pedroia 2B
A-Rod 3B
Andrus SS
A. Gordon OF
Gallardo MIL
Price TB

We are a 10 team league, i will have to wait 19 picks before its my turn to pick again.

The best avaiable players are:
Matt Holliday OF STL
David Wright 3B NYM
Carl Crawford OF BOS
Jon Lester SP BOS
B.Beachy SP ATL

I really prefer a hitter, so who do you pick?

i think it's kind of a toss up between wright and holliday, since you have a-rod already i'd lean holliday.

But i will still need to fill a CI spot. But why not Crawford? Too few HRs for you for a first pick?

I think you have to go with Holliday here. That would be my pick. Crawford would be next for me but I dont trust him. And then Wright next.

I prefer Crawford over Holliday this yr., but its just possible that Crawford will still be there in 19 picks, take Holliday.

I prefer David Wright from the list provided. I like the prospects of a Carl Crawford bounce back as well, but you may be able to get him at the book ends on the way back.

I would still want Holliday for this year and probably next.

I like Wright to have a bounce back year. With the fences moving in and all, I think he still has a some really good years left. I don't think you can go wrong either way though. Holliday and Wright are both pretty solid picks.

You already have a 3B so i wouldn't go Wright. I'd rather have 2 OF than a 2nd pitcher so that leaves Holliday and Crawford. I think Crawford is the best bet here. I expect more production out of him this year. Hollidays extra production is more than out weighed by Crawfords speed.

Wright might not be in Citi Field all year, so the field change isn't that big of a deal. With A-Rod at 3B already I would not take David Wright.

Without Pujols there will be no protection for Matt Holliday. I don't think Lance Berkman will have another year like last year again.

The question is whether you think Carl Crawford will bounce back. He's the youngest of them all, but with his skillset speed deteriorates first. I think he'll bounce back, and I would go with him.
