Did you see Olt and a farm pick are also involved on the MadBum side?
Is that supposed to matter? Pick 2 of these 4 in a keeper league: Hamilton, Hellickson, MadBum, Olt
Hamilton and Hellickson and I don't even think it's close. But, that's just my opinion.
You and I have a different valuation of Hellboy and Bum. Age, division, health, physical size, K/9, BB/H, pitch selection are all factors in my evaluation and it's not that close IMO. But it's just my opinion, and I can't forecast the future (although I keep trying, usually failing miserably).
I know giving up Hamilton was questionable, but I'm rolling the dice a bit here fer shure.

I say pick a reasonable number and stick with it. My $0.02
I'm cool with whatever has been suggested so far. Maybe 1 more OF and P for next year and another P and MI/CI for the following year.
I think I like the idea of going OF/OF/P or OF/P/BN and then MI/CI/P the next year rather than vice versus. I think the related ideas we might need to discuss would be do we want 2 catchers (not advocating, just asking) and how we want those P spots allocated (force another SP and/or RP spot or just load up on general spots). I thought of something else a while ago but it's escaping my mind for the moment
Can we get a few thoughts on this before I throw up a poll (or two)?

6 moves a week sounds good to me.
I'm also ok with the addition of OF/P/BN for next year.
Here are the first polls, simply a pass/fail measure for whether or not we should have a weekly roster add limit and what positions we're adding next season for 2013. Need to get everyone to chip in on both, please
I believe we've used a 2/3 majority in the past, though I was having a really hard time finding "proof" - need to get a decision on that as well and get it in the constitution ...
Ugh, hey guys I'm really sorry for "ignoring" this league. I put that in quotes because I set my lineup daily, I just rarely actually come to this thread...or even check my PM's. Seriously, is there a way to send PM's to email because I can't figure that out? It would also be sweet if you could just send the forum threads to an RSS feed. Anyone know if that's possible? At first attemp, I can add ALL the threads to a feed but not a specific thread. I'm also almost always available on gchat (j.harv8@gmail.com).
I voted in the two polls. I voted to add a bench spot. Honestly, despite this being my only free league, I love it to death and really dont want or feel the need to change anything. The phrase, dont fix it if it aint broke comes to mind here. So I picked the lessest (is that a word) of the evils and added a vanilla bench spot.
I voted for adding a weekly limit because let's face it, streaming is for losers.
On a random note, with Machado's call up this week I took a glance back to see what I traded to get him. Turns out it was Jon Lester for Mat Latos/Manny Machado. I also just traded Jon Niese for Lester so really its Niese for Latos/Machado. Where is the "pat yourself on the back" emoticon?
