Cliff Lee definitely my best FA acquisition by far. Don't think I've made a really bad dropping this league (yet, gulp), though I was mortified when I dropped Broxton and didn't get him back at the time.
Kind of conflicted about the Montero-Pineda deal. As an M's fan I like it in real life, but in fantasy I think I like both guys better in their previous spots
Looks like we'll need at least one new owner this year to replace AD. Any suggestions? I think we should hold tryouts, or make perspective owners run some kind of fantasy gauntlet...
Still no contact from jake_2k5. Kind of seeming like this is his pattern, and with it being this early I'm not terribly concerned (yet), but we already have to replace one owner for sure and finding two would be a lot harder, so we need to figure this out ASAP imo. Anyone possibly have outside-the-Cafe contact info for him?
Update: Have been in talks with Aqua about AD's vacated team, and it sounds like he's interested in picking the squad up but has requested about a week to iron out his league commitments and see where he stands before taking the spot. As for jake_2k5, I still haven't heard anything from him and have a number of unread PMs to him at this point. If anyone knows an alternate way to get ahold of him (email, etc.) please speak up and/or get him in here asap to check in, etc.
Didn't we probably do a thread back in the day where we listed our contact information? It's probably in the archives somewhere towards the beginning. If not, is his email on last year's league page under managers? My guess is he has it hidden, though.

Sorry for the very slow response. I wasn't seeing the PM notifications in my email as I rarely use the account they were sent to and I hadn't logged into the Cafe in a while. Anyway, as you've likely guessed, it would probably be best if I were replaced. I'll keep playing if you can't find anyone to take over my team, but I'm not sure how active I could be.
