In a 30 team dynasty league with a rebuilding team at least 2 years from competing, would you deal prospect OF Gary Brown for SS Jose Reyes at his real life salary contract?

No. Unless you could flip Reyes for a better prospect...

You're framing the question as if you really want to say no. It's hard to imagine a scenario where giving up a top 30 prospect in Brown to get a top 30 player in Reyes in a fantasy league wouldn't be an automatic yes, but I guess it's possible with the right league structure.

Yup, depending on what my team already looks like and if I can handle Reyes' salary...or if I couldn't handle the salary but had a good feeling about flipping him for another piece....I'd take Reyes.

This. Unless I can't handle Reyes' salary, I'm on this.

Agreed. In almost all circumstances I take the MLB talent over the "prospect". It's not like Brown is a slam dunk prospect either. At worst, you might be able to flip Reyes later in the year if you're not contending for a better prospect.
Have to agree, take Reyes. Brown has little chance of being anything close Reyes production plus this gives you an elite SS in a super deep league. Two years down the road, Reyes will still be playing SS so I wouldn't worry to much where your team will be. And like it was said before, you should almost always take the MLB talent over the minor league talent.
