what will happen first?

I have a dilema on my dynasty roster. I have neftali feliz and kenley jansen, and i dont want to drop either of them and im not getting what i want in return for them. However, i can keep Jansen in my minor leagues for another 9.2 innings. do you think he will get 9.2 innings first or will Neftali Feliz get 5 starts first?

Well if you assume that feliz gets his 5th start around the 23rd-25th game and project jansen to throw around 60 innings, it'd take around 26 games on average for him to reach 9.2 innings which means that feliz would reach his mark slightly before jansen. It's probably close to a toss up though.

Unless they go with a 6 man rotation or skip a few Feliz starts in the early going. A lot of times a 5th starter isn't even needed for a few weeks. I fully anticipate that Jansen will get a much healthier work load this season as Guerra's primary setup guy. I would project closer to 80 innings than 60. I think Jansen will get to his mark before Feliz will.
