$200 Y! Keeper league needing replacement manager

Just letting you know we may have a team opening up in our league (I'll know for sure in about a day or two so please let me knoe if you're interested).

Before we go into any details just know there is a $200 entry fee, but it's 100% payouts. It is a very serious keeper league with a great group of guys.

This manager quit on us in the middle of the first season last year so we brought in a replacement manager with about 6 weeks left in the season. We'll it looks the replacement guy might not stick around and if he doesnt the team will be open.

We have a minor league draft and a regular draft (both message board auction drafts) each year. You can look at your roster (http://mlb.fscen.com/teams/n4/roster.html) and decide which guys you want to keep for the new season. Each player you keep (since this is the first year) have a $3 increase on their salary. Your salary cap is $300. So $300 minus whatever your cost is for your keepers will be the amount you can draft with. You also have a minor league roster (http://mlb.fscen.com/teams/n4/farmSystem.html) (FYI it is currently 5 players but will prolly increase to 10 this year) and you can call up any player from it and they'll be given a $2 salary. Don't worry all of this is in the Constitution plus I'm available on Yahoo Messenger all the time and I can walk you through each part. It seems like a lot at first but you'll catch on. Lucky for you you have Kipnis in your farm system who should be a stud at a low cost. With the year to year keepers with salary increases and the auction drafts it really isn't too hard to rebuild a team. It gives alot of flexibility even for new guys coming into the league.

Now our season pretty much starts in a few weeks with our Winter Meetings where we discuss any possible rule changes for the upcoming season. Those can be found here (http://mlb.fscen.com/forums/index.php) there is a discussion thread open for each topic so we can discuss and vote on them starting on the 14th of January.

If you want to join the entry fee is due by the 10th so you have about a week to get it in (we do paypal or mail). Then we have the month to get you up to speed on everything before trading and keeper deadlines approach after the Winter Meetings close. Then our minor league draft is in Feb and draft in march.
