veres will likely be the main closer in chicago. but baker may go by match-ups with remlinger getting lefties out. i would go with veres-- the chicago trib says if he does well baker may just go with the hot hand.

And Florida as well. Are all three still up for grabs?

I'd say Looper in Florida and Biddle in Canada/Puerto Rico for this week anyways. The Cubs should give Juan Cruz a shot at closing (imo) even if six finger makes it back.

Does anyone know what's going on in Baltimore or Detroit? Julio and Anderson are yet to get a save. Are they still closing or are the teams so bad they havn't had the opportunity to save one yet? And how pissed am I about the Stewart situation in Montreal? They had everyone fooled going into the season. Now I have stewart on a team and I don't know if I should hold onto him because there are no other closers on the FA wire and the situation in Montreal could change weekly liked it seemed to do last year!
BTW, MacDougal looks like a steal right now if you had the opportunity to pick him up.

Julio got a save today for BAL. He gave up 1 hit, no runs, and struck out 2.

That's good news for Julio owners! I was starting to sweat having him on my team. He was great last year. Good to hear he closed one. Thanks.

From RotoWorld:
Robert Person - S - Boston Red Sox Apr 12
The Red Sox are talking about making Robert Person, who is on the DL with a shoulder injury, the closer in their troubled bullpen.
Person will be groomed as a closer in bullpen outings during his rehab stint. ''At this point in time that certainly is a possibility,'' manager Grady Little said. Person has saved eight games in his career, for the Blue Jays in 98 and 99. He's definitely worth stashing away if you can get him cheap. Source: Boston Globe
Might be good to keep in the back of your mind...
