Again, San Diego getting a player that contending teams should have been all over. What are the odds that Street and Quentin are still in Padres uniforms by the end of the season?

Very slim, unless the Pads are contending in July.

The Rays need a first baseman, but I don't think they can trade offense for a first basemen. The trade has to come through pitching depth imo.
Carlos Quentin value just took a nose dive. first thing that jumped out to me was he is moving from Cellular field to PETCO. one of the best HR parks to one of the worst. but in 2011 he was actually better away from Cell.. home- .214/.307/.381/.688/ 7 HR away- .294/.372/.616/.989/ 17 HR
but that was different in 2010.. home- .270/.380/.562/.943/ 19 HR away- .214/.299/.391/.690/ 7 HR
and 2009.. home- .266/.350/.520/.870/ 12 HR away- .207/.296/.391/.687/ 9 HR
I'm assuming the Padres still have moves to make? what's their lineup now? 1B- Alonso 2B- Hudson 3B- Headley SS- Bartlett RF- Guzman ? CF- Maybin LF- Quentin CA- Hundley not starting. Venable? Blanks, Rizzo, Denorfia,

Guzman in the OF would probably be pretty loltastic. I feel like they'd stick with Venable, at least to start the season.

I never saw Guzman in the OF, no idea myself how he would do. would it make more sense to switch and have Guzman at 1B with Alonso in the RF? I would figure Alonso is starting somewhere. but shouldn't Guzman be starting too? good numbers in 2011 with the Padres, and good numbers in the minors. with his offensive potential I would think he should be starting over Venable. if anything it should be a platoon because Venable is not very good at all against LHP.
EDIT: or I guess I should say LF, not RF. Quentin in RF, with someone else in LF.
