What should I focus on now?

I have a script to keep track of my team vs. my opponents and its looking good for me so far. But, of course, I want to improve where I can. Here is my team. Oh, this is a dynasty league.

16 team League (First year dynasty)

C McCann
1B Goldschmidt
2B Cano
3B Panda
SS Rollins
OF (4): Tabata, Victorino, Austin Jackson
U David Ortiz

SP: Strasburg, Felix, Daniel Hudson, Chris Sale, Chris Carpenter
RP: Mariano Rivera, JJ Putz, Kyle Farnsworth

So, hows my team coming along and what should I focus on in rounds 15-50?

you have 0 pop in the outfield. i'd focus on that first.

I might also look at another 1b, while i like Goldschmidt he may not be ready this year to produce at the level you're looking for.

RP obv since you only have one closer, but I think the 2 above issues are more pressing.

You should always play for this year, but you have to look ahead in a dynasty, too. You've done a good job mixing in some high impact youngsters like Strasburg and Sale (and Goldschmidt, though I agree with the above poster that you might want to lock down a 1B backup). If you have a minors draft, I'd make it a priority to nab one of the top SS prospects like Machado or Profar because Rollins is 33 and declining.

I wouldn't worry about relief pitching just yet - getting another 1B, another OF (with pop) and a couple high risk high reward SP would be my priority. A 16 team league with 50 rounds means you won't be able to count on grabbing useful RP off the WW.

More offense with a lean towards power and mix in solid ratio relievers from time to time.

With OF, should I look for a Carlos Quentin type of player or a John Mayberry type? Or, go with a young kid with potential like Jerry Sands?

Also, I should have noted in the original post, doubles and triples are also stats that count.

For 1B should I go with a Carlos Pena type, Adam Dunn? Or gamble a little with Kendry Morales?

As has been mentioned you really need some power. Quentin type player out of those options. I'm not a Sands fan though.

Look for some high K/9 relievers as well from time to time.

Normally I listen to advice I get from the cafe but at the last minute I decided not to draft Quentin and picked up a third closer, which was three closers in a row, which I didn't really like, but in a sixteen team league I like having Rivera, Putz and Farnsworth.

Now, I see Chicago traded Quentin away to SD. Seems like Quentins expected power numbers will likely take a hit in SD. Should I re-evaluate who to go after?

Hunter Craig Rios Hudson Morales Q all seem like decent adds at this point. Craig and Morales still dinged so maybe they can wait a little longer, tho they will be fine in the long run I believe
