Bailey dealt to Red Sox for Reddick

According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the Red Sox have acquired closer Andrew Bailey from the A's.
Josh Reddick is headed to Oakland, possibly in a package of other prospects. Bailey, 27, has a 2.07 career ERA and 9.0 career K/9 through three major league seasons. He's expected to serve as Boston's primary ninth-inning man in 2012, pushing the newly-acquired Mark Melancon into a setup role. i find it hard to believe that this was the best package they could get. he's not gonna cost that much in arb and he's under team control for 3 more years. like really?

But between Reddick and Head but got two more OF / 1B to add to his collection. He couldn't let the Padres corner the market.

How far does Bailey climb up the rankings after this?

Why would he climb up the rankings? He was already a closer in Oakland with as much (or more, probably) job security.
