Need info on below players...

Needing to see how I did in our minor league draft:

1. Francisco Lindor (cle)
2. Jose Fernandez (fla)
3. Hudson Boyd (min)
4. Elier Hernandez (kc)
5. Kolten Wong (stl)
6. Kevin Cron (sea)

We could only pick players that were drafted this year. 16 team league

A lot of talent there, but considering how far away from the majors these guys are it is tough to give it a solid grade.

Yeah, hard to be for sure on guys so young, far away from the majors. Some good talent nonetheless.

Lindor 17 years old, which means a good ways away. More known for his defense than his bat. Could be a good on-base guy, top of the order hitter.

Fernandez - Mid 90's fastball, ceiling of a great #2/rotation anchor, elite closer.

Boyd - #2/3 ceiling, late inning guy

Hernandez - International guy, hard to judge, good hit tools with project-able power. Also a ways away.

Won - A higher floor guy. Will hit for a good avg, little pop. Closer to the majors than the others but not as high of a ceiling.

Cron - I don't think he signed and is at TCU.

A good place to find this information is Minor League Ball. Google that and it should get you to the site. John Sickels does a grade on each organizations top 20 minor league players and a brief snippet on those players.

Cron actually went to Utah and signed. He played in the pioneer league but his pro debut was cut short due to a torn labrum and then a dislocated knee cap. He profiles as a high hr, obp,and rbi producer with a low-mid avg and no speed.

CJ Cron did go to Utah and signed with the LA Angels. I believe the player listed above is Kevin Cron (CJ's younger brother) who was drafted in the 3rd round by Seattle, but did not sign and instead chose to attend TCU. Kevin is a bat first guy that profiles similar to his brother CJ.
