Please rate my team. I won the championship last year, but I'm trying to make sure my team stays competitive for the title the next 3-4 years. EDIT: This is a 12 team league.

I've got four empty bench slots from making a couple 2 for 1 and 3 for 2 trades. Any other suggestions in terms of trades and weaknesses would be great. I know I'll need a SS and a 2B sooner rather than later. Thanks for any and all inputs.

Great offense in a 16 teamer very good in a 10 teamer. Offense looks much stronger than the pitching, advice would be make trades excess hitting for SP which looks thin no matter what size league

try to trade outfield for starting pitching. other than that, solid squad in my opinion

I agree with the others, the addition of an Ace would help big time. You have a good OF and 4 players that are 3B eligible. Move an OF or 3B for a top of the rotation SP and you should be good.

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

so you'd do (8x8)+(6x6) = c^2

that would give you 64+36=c^2

simplified would be 100=c^2

take the square root of each side to simplify.

the square root of 100 is 10.

therefore... c=10

2B Rickie Weeks, Mil 2B (injury prone and hurts AVG, nice though given age and lineup spot)
3B David Wright, NYM 3B (also has injury issues, but add no protection and BRUTAL pitching park)
SS Hanley Ramirez, Fla SS DTD (last year as a SS, injury issues, love his rebound though)
OF Josh Hamilton, Tex OF DTD (also injury prone, but even with 140 games he is STUD)
OF Andrew McCutchen, Pit OF (CRAZY future)
OF Michael Bourn, Atl OF (only getting better)
UTIL Michael Morse, Wsh OF, 1B (subjective, but love his progression...stud)
UTIL Jose Bautista, Tor 3B, OF (Stud of studs, so long as he does not get busted)
Bench Jhonny Peralta, Det SS, 3B (underrated)
Bench Emilio Bonifacio, Fla OF, 3B, SS (BIG ?, could be nice though)
Bench Carlos Quentin, SD OF (Trade was brutal for him)

Very nice roster , Kershaw/Price and soon Pineda are all ace's, what you need is to get in a league that has more competition than your immediate family seems to be giving you.

With this team i would try to trade Quentin for a Top Notch RP. The ones you have now
don't inspire much confidence in me. I would also be concerned a little of Bonifacio. Don't get me wrong, i like him, he helped me win my league last year. I am a little worried about him losing playing time with the arrival of Reyes.

You are deep on 3B, also remember than Hanley may be going to 3rd base now, since Jose Reyes is coming to Miami, so you will need to pick up a SS

Move Hanley to 3rd, get rid of David Wright to pick up a SP, and then I would try and trade a OF for a better SS, maybe even off up a 3B and a OF for SS
