i wouldn't necessarily say good riddance. outside of the economic and social hardships he placed on his own people (which is pretty standard dictator m.o.) he turned out to be relatively harmless, despite having the world's 4th largest standing army. who knows what kind of looney bin nut case his son is? hopefully he is not more aggressive.
I agree that his bark was worse than his bite. I always figured he'd go out with a bang. Maybe an armed incursion into the south, or a few crude missiles into Japan. I'm glad he went relatively quickly, though part of me wishes he would of suffered a long agonizing death.
Kim, 70, died on Dec. 17 of a heart attack brought on by mental and physical strain while on a domestic train trip, the official Korean Central News Agency said.
Wonder what the son will be like and what he will do...
I want to play a game. The rules are simple. All you have to do is sit here and talk to me. Listen to me. We haven't been properly introduced. My name is John.
