Well if you read the thread you'd understand that Patrick broke news on his "radio" (no watching required) show. That's how I found out about it.

Also - if you can't see that this drawn-out scenario is bad for MLB and their testing program, and likely will be the Topic of the Year if Braun is exonerated - go back to sleep.

What I find funny is all of the comments about how no player has ever won an appeal for a positive test. If the system is working and they win the appeal we would never hear about it so for all we know dozens of players have won appeals at this point. This is a case of the system breaking down and the initial result being leaked, in a 'perfect world' if Braun cleared himself we wouldn't have known he ever tested positive.

We all know his 112 game + 50 value. So with that being said, what round do you think about taking him?

Braun is currently being drafted about 27th overall.

I took him in the Cafeholics Mock 60 with the 31st Pick.

Early third round in a 12 team league so around 28/29th overall.

Late 1st round in a H2H league assuming you are confident in making the playoffs.
Late 2nd or early 3rd round in a roto league with a bench.
4th round in a roto league with no bench.

Once you add 50 games of replacement level to his 112 game stats he is still a very good player. He even has 1st round upside if he somehow gets it overturned or the scrub you pick up just has a big first 50 games.
