I have a friend in my keeper league who is interested in Andre Ethier. What is he worth in a trade? I know that he played poorly last year and had the knee injury, so that may have sucked some of his power away. What kind of pitcher is he worth? Maybe some one like Latos?

Tough to gauge Ethier's worth after the mess of 2011. Even in my own league, the jury is split. That said, it can't hurt to trade him for Latos. I would love to get Latos for Ethier.

Value is always relative. Saying what he's worth in trade is an exercise in futility. If we know your league settings and roster and you have a deal on the table, I can tell you if the deal is a good one or not.

Since you brought up Latos, though, in a standard league I'd be happy to get Latos for Ethier.

I really don't trust Ethier so would be quite happy if someone was interested in him. Latos would be a great return. Who else does the owner have available?

Ethier is way overrated. He has some pop, but can't hit lefties & started having knee problems last season. It is a contract season, but if you can get anything of value you should do it. Latos for Ethier sounds like a win to me.

Yeah, unless the league has some whacked catergories/scoring, hard to imagine Ethier having greater value than Latos. I make the deal.
