Juan Pierre has been a big fantasy contributor for much of the past decade.
Yeah, I agree with Bighort. I think that Juan Pierre has been a great return on investment guy for the past seven years or so.
Until Revere can bring up his OBP his value will be limited. Difference between him and Pierre is that Pierre is ok at getting on base and Revere is not very good at all. Pierre's career OBP = .345 and Revere's career OBP = .305. If he can fix that he might be relevant.

You're talking about pathetic vs. extremely pathetic. It's negligible. If Revere can post SB totals over the next 10 years like Pierre has the previous 10 (2011 not withstanding), he can bat .250 and essentially do nothing else and he'll still be a mid-round pick. Those SB total, FWIW, are: 46, 47, 65, 45, 57, 58, 64, 40, 30, 68. When a guy has that kind of dominance in 20% of the offensive categories in a 5x5 league, there will be room on my roster for him.

You do realize that you're talking about his rookie season and he had a .326 BA and .385 OBP in the minors. I already know that I'm going to love/hate Revere as a twins fan but there's no reason that he shouldn't be batting .290-.300 with a .340-.350 OBP. He needs to steal all of those bases to have any value but he should be able to get 40 easily.
