Guys to keep an eye on in 2012

I like Ben Revere and Brad Peacock quite a bit going into 2012...

As a Twins fan I think I will love/hate Revere. zero power and zero arm. Great defense and speed.

Doumit could be interesting to watch since he'll be playing a lot with catcher eligibility.

I find guys like Lawrie/Hosmer/Napoli/etc too obvious but I should start thinking about kind of list. My list would focus on guys that can breakout with 5th rd production available in rds 10-20. Kipnis, Ackley, Gardner (rebound?) and similar.

Beckham is on my DND list. He's a mess and he's been expanding the strike zone each season

I don't see the appeal of Ackley. No power, no speed, horrible lineup, horrible park. His upside is a good batting average and butkus in the other categories.

6/6, .273 in his rookie season (90 games) disagrees. Those K's will come down and the avg will go up. Getting to 15/15 is pretty reasonable imo.

Yeah, I agree he'll be a speed/AVG only asset in fantasy, but he could definitely put up Gardner type production at a 10 round discount...

He might even be on my fantasy team for the same reason that JWeeks was for half a season. cheap SB's.

Agreed on Blanks and the same goes for Gamel since he'll likely be at 1B for the Brew Crew.

Agreed. He was also hitting in the 3-hole for the M's last season. 80+ RBI from your 2B spot along with kab's stat line above is pretty nice, IMO.
