Need help figuring my last keeper. I've exhausted most trade talks for now.
Last spot is down to Masterson at $2.25, B Anderson at $1.75, Sergio Santos at $2.25, Norris at $1.25, Vazquez at $2.25, Joyce at $2.25, or maybe Yunel at 7.35.
Scoring details and current keepers below. I appreciate all feedback. Thanks in advance and WHIR.
8x8 roto scoring: AVG, H, RBI, R, HR, D+T, BB, SB ERA, W, QS%, BB/9, K/9, H/9, Slg%against, S+Holds (saves are worth 1 point, holds are worth 0.5 points) We start all 26 players. 12 team keeper league, 12 keepers per team plus 13 player ML system.
C C 1B Hosmer, $1.25 1B Gonzalez, $6.50 2B Pedroia, $4.25 2B Espinosa, $1.00 - callup, no roster spot 3B Youk, $6.50 3B SS - Reyes, 13.00, franchise player, salary doesn't count SS OF - Braun, $4.25 OF - Granderson, 8.25 OF - Morrison, $1.25 OF - Victorino, $6.25 OF UTL
SP Lincecum, $1.25 SP Beckett, $10.50 SP Chacin, $1.25 SP Duffy, $1.00 - callup, no roster spot SP SP UTL RP Sale, $1.00 - callup, no roster spot RP RP
I would go with either Masterson at $2.25 since some SP depth can't hurt OR Joyce at $2.25. I like Joyce a bit more, because I think he has good upside, but you already have 4 OF..
B Anderson at $1.75 - Injury prone. Not sure if you could get him back for less. But I probably wouldn't keep him either way. Norris at $1.25 - Good value here, but I like Masterson a tad more. Vazquez at $2.25 - Not as good as Masterson or Norris IMO and with a similar price tag to Masterson. Yunel at 7.35 - WAY to much to spend on Yunel IMO.
I agree with the previous poster. There's no slam-dunk choice, but in light of your league's settings I'd take Masterson. In a more standard league I'd probably take Bud Norris, though. K potential is too hard to ignore.
Also, are you really keeping Josh Beckett for $10.50? I know he had a good year, but come on. If A-Gon is $6.50 and Pedroia is $4.25, no way are you spending $10.50 for Beckett. Is that a typo? Did you mean $1.50?

I agree with this. Becket had a nice bounce back, but it looks like he is way overpriced compared to some others.
The extra cats are quite beneficial to Santos as well.

Santos is the easy pick here. I also agree to drop Beckett. Compared to everyone else you have, his salary is way over blown. I would drop him and keep Masterson. I would keep an eye on Brett Anderson though and see how he is doing come spring training. He has the most upside of those you have mentioned and should be fine once he gets to full strength. Anderson could be a very good #2 SP and is still pretty young.
