The Marlins will throw up a bunch of runs if they sign Albert, but if Josh Johnson doesn't stay healthy who is going to carry the load. Nolasco has had good years before and Sanchez was solid last year but can they lead a rotation? Gut feeling says this will not end as well as people think it will.

Huston Street to the Padres. I'm surprised no contending teams were interested in him. Health is an issue but he's on the last year of his contract and has been pretty much lights-out for his entire career. $9M is a lot for a guy that you're probably going to trade for prospects in July.
Talk about a rough 24 hours for the Marlins. They went from possibly having the Reyes, Ramirez, Pujols, Stanton, Morrison lineup to likely not having Pujols and Ramirez possibly demanding a trade, getting Buehrle over Wilson, and spending $198m to get Buehrle, Reyes, and Bell. I want the old Marlins back.
@BNightengale Bob Nightengale Confirmed @JCrasnick: The Pujols' camp has informed the #Marlins they are out. but Pujols still has 3 offers in excess of $200 million.
3 other clubs other than the Marlins. the Cardinals were believed to have offered a 10 year contract, but now is said to only be 9. would it still be over $200? one maybe the Angles? one maybe the Cubs?
