Could be pretty interesting, especially on HBO assuming it gets a decent budget. The Stand miniseries wasn't too bad although there are always going to be things people are upset about being changed. Bardem is just about perfect for Roland.

looks like they still plan to do it as a movie/TV combo
please let this happen and please let it not suck

Where are all of the mma fans?
Last episode of TUF on Weds was great. This is a good season and I really hope that Mayhem is the real deal and can take out Bisping.

Grimm was very good. A horror/thriller cop show with a supernatural basis. If anyone remembers the Denzel movie Fallen, it has that kind of a feel to it. Seems like it will have much more legs than Once Upon a Time.

It is a slow relatively calm show, but I love it. The characters and dialog is top notch. T&A and more naughty words might be nice, but honestly after watching a few episodes I didn't even notice.

Agreed.

Has anyone ever watched Boardwalk Empire?

Caught the pilot + 1/2 of the next episode of American Horror Story last night. Looks to be pretty watchable (and definitely better than like 80-90% of the horror movies I've seen in my lifetime.)

I turned it off but only because it's not my thing. I thought it was going to be different, more like Once Upon a Time. I think fans of shows like Buffy will like it though, my wife finished watching it and enjoyed it.
