Nl-only, 12 team, standard 5X5, 6 keepers, $260 auction.
Coming off our first league championship, our top five keepers are definites:
Tulo $35 Dee Gordon $5 (looking to thin out an already thin SS position) Mike Morse $10 Wilson Ramos $3 Jair Jurjjens $4
Our last choice is between Dan Hudson $16 or Vance Worley $5.
Our general thought is to never trust a second year starter which sends us toward Hudson. However, Worley is looking like a hella value in that Phillies rotation.
But again, keeping control of Hudson as a high-end number two will allow us to spend a bit of cash to ensure a #1; either Kershaw or Doc. We are not so sure with Worley as a keeper, would probably try to fill up on multiple number 2 or 3 line starters.

Thoughts. Always WHIR!

Personally I don't believe in Worley, so I would go with Hudson. He'll return some value, and won't implode. The other option IMO is to throw them both back (if you think Hudson will go for less than 16). Checking the trade market for both could also be a good idea, as its possible that someone is high enough on Worley to give up something you'd actually want to keep.
I'm gonna have to agree with the guys above me. Go with Hudson. He's got a solid, young lineup backing him up now and while he may see a slight regression, I'd say go with the proven arm over the one year wonder...not saying Worley won't do well next year, but I feel like i'd rather have Hudson at $16 than Worley + whatever $11 player you can pick up later
I'll jump on the pile and say Hudson as well. I'd rather have more certainty in my keepers and I don't believe that Vance comes close to last season's numbers. The extra $ is worth it, and it seems you already have some good, low priced guys.
I think keeping Gordon is a mistake. Seems like a huge waste and to be honest I dont care how much youre going to "thin out the position". Its going to hurt your own team much more than it will hinder anyone else. You might even be able to redraft him for just a buck or 2 more than you could keep him.
So keep Hudson, and also keep Worley with the $5 you wanted to spend on Gordon.
